WORLD DAY OF MIGRANTS & REFUGEES, THIS SUNDAY 25 September 2022
The Church has been celebrating the World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR) since 1914. It’s always an occasion to express concern for different vulnerable people on the move; to pray for them as they face many challenges; and to increase awareness about the opportunities that migration offers.
The Vatican has a dedicated section for Migrants and Refugees https://migrants-refugees.va/

PRAYERS THIS WEEK
For THE HARVEST
For a fair and equal trade, so that all may receive a just wage for the work of their hands.
For politicians and all who make decisions that affect the future of the earth: may they safeguard the care of creation for future generations.
O Lord, our Father, who in your providence have entrusted the earth to the human race, grant, we pray, that with the fruits harvested from it we may be able to sustain life and, with your help, always use them wisely.  Amen
For MIGRANTS & REFUGEES
Lord, make us builders of your Kingdom, together with migrants and refugees and with all who dwell on the peripheries.
Let us learn how beautiful it is to live together as brothers and sisters.
Amen
